CHRISTmas

I can't believe how it came and went. Colton, of course, had "the best Christmas Ever." While we were opening presents on Christmas morning there was a time where he was litterally shaking. His eyes were going a million miles a second. He could hardly talk because he could focus on just one thing. Here are some Pictures Recapping our blessed Holiday:

This last photo was taken at Zoo lights. The girls, Colton and JJ got ride while I stood around to take this picture. JJ is hard to see but he is in the back of the train on the right hand side. You can click on the photos to see it bigger.

As I Promised

For those of you that are the unprivileged and don't get to see Heather on a day-to-day basis, here is a glimpse of our little joy in the making.
On Friday the 21st we will be going to see our baby through ultrasound. We are so excited. The suspense continues to build as we are not going to find out what the sex of our baby is. We were talking tonight about a game plan revolving around decorating our babies room. Since we are not going to find out and Heather is sees all these cute decorations for only boys and only girls, I think we are going to do a hurry up and decorate when the baby comes, or maybe we can decorate while we are up at 2:30 in the morning. However, the pregnancy is going really well and we are enjoying it greatly. Colton loves talking to the baby and saying hi to her/him daily. Heather is the most beautiful pregnant woman I have ever seen. Isn't she just the cutes thing ever?!?!

Older but Good

So still trying to catch everyone up since I have not been good with blogging so here is what we did around hollowing. I don't have any pictures of Colton in his Spiderman costume, but he did love it, and again we had a blast running around trick or treating. Here is the pumpkin we carved:
One huge accomplishment that we have overcome in the last month is Colton has learned how to tie his own shoes.
Other than that nothing really big has been going on. Of course we are all Really excited for Christmas to come. The most beautiful wife in the entire world is doing great with her newly formed baby bump. I will do my best to get a picture of that next on here. To end enjoy these pictures of Colton and I "raking" our leaves (oh yeah, Ace helped too!)!

Do we have the record yet?

So I know we have not posted is ALMOST a year, but what can say, it has been a busy year. Just to be captain obvious, I don't think it is going to slow down any time soon. Baby Jenson is on the way (Due May7th) and once again the house needs an overhaul. I shouldn't the house, but just a couple of the rooms. Baby Jenson needs her/his room, so I am in the process of refinishing the basement. The computers will move out of the baby's room and into the basement. Since Heather did such a good job picking out the paint in that room, it will remain the same. I will do my best to start blogging again so all you Colorado Aliens will be kept up to date as to what is going on. Stay tuned!

The Date is Set!!!

August 12, 2007, I will be uniting with the most wonderful, beautiful, caring, loving, smart creation that God has ever made. We will be doing this at the Boettcher Mansion, which is located in Golden, CO on top of Lookout Mountain. Here is the link to their home page:

Of course there will be more updates to come, but I think the biggest decision is out of the way. I will also be doing some research on some hotels and am going to see if I can get some deals, so I will try and keep all you out of towners updated.

Christmas Break

Since the house is finally in working order and does not need our immediate attention, over the holidays there was minimal work on the house, but we did fill our time with lots of playing. Super heroes was the game of choice, which consists of Colton telling us what super hero we are and where we need to go to save the city. There was also a lot of play where I was the bad guy, which consisted of Colton beating me up, tying my up, and in the end Colton saving the world. Colton now has just about every Superman toy ever made. You would think that having so many Supermans that he would not be able to play with them all, but Colton is very talented and manages to make sure that no Superman is left out. Over this winter break Colton and I had the privileged to experience skiing. Colton made me so proud. The first part of the day, was a little slow going, but once he figured out the basics, the only frustrating part to Colton was when I touched him. He picked up skiing better than anyone else that was trying that day. The were two older people that by the end of the day had taken off their skis and were walking down the mountain. Colton, on the other hand, was skiing all the way to the bottom without falling. Some quotes from Colton, "This is the best day ever," "This is so much fun," "Quit touching me," "I can't wait to go skiing again," and the quote that I will cherish forever, "You are such a great Dad." If you have ever spent more than 10 seconds with Colton, you will truly know who Superman really is. Colton is still asking to go skiing again, so shortly we will be venturing out again to experience it some more. Here are some pictures from our trip:
